CO.CREATE

This project is a short-term living space crafted for two artists, merging the industrial feel of stacked container design with the inviting warmth of interiors inspired by the 1970s. This building is thoughtfully laid out with symmetry, every artist enjoys an equal-sized bedroom, bathroom, and studio, ensuring both fairness and privacy. The centerpiece of the design is a shared studio that acts as a collaborative space, encouraging a vibrant exchange of ideas between the two artists. The sunlit courtyard functions as a tranquil gathering spot, visually tying the studios together and offering a moment of respite within the limited space. The kitchen and living area also act as communal hubs, featuring a retro-inspired mix of materials, like green tiles, curved furniture, and bold wall art, that infuse a warm, playful spirit, standing in stark contrast to the minimalist design of the outside. In this project, we take a closer look at the interplay between being alone and coming together, celebrating the lively pulse of creativity that thrives in a modular and expressive living space.
