GLOVE

Glove is a cleverly designed compact kitchen system that shows how a fully functional kitchen can seamlessly fit into a space while maintaining a sense of calm and precision. This project cleverly uses concealment not just as a practical solution, but also as a key design element. The kitchen is framed by a continuous timber wall of cabinetry, and when you open the bifold pocket doors, the main working area is revealed. When closed, it transforms into a sleek architectural surface, minimizing visual clutter and creating a more cohesive interior. With a warm plywood finish and a light brown stain, the system gains depth and texture, while the black steel accents and Calacatta-style surfaces provide a striking contrast and a touch of elegance. The island extends the kitchen into the room, serving as both a prep area and a social hub. By allowing the working zone to vanish when it’s not in use, Glove becomes a versatile part of the interior that feels like a natural fit rather than an afterthought.
